ERL – KLIA Express
The ERL – KLIA Express Line transports passengers from both terminals at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) to the KL Sentral transportation hub in about 30 minutes. From KL Sentral, you can take the Gombak-bound train on the LRT Kelana Jaya Line and disembark at the KLCC LRT station.

Airport Taxi
Airport taxis operate on a coupon system, with coupons available for purchase at designated counters. The taxi service provider offers a range of vehicle types, from family sedans to luxury options. Coupons can be purchased at the following locations:

- International Baggage Reclaim, Level 3, Main Terminal Building
Fare Range: Fares are fixed based on the desired destinations. Towards the KLCC area, the fare should be around MYR100 for a standard taxi. Fares are inclusive of tolls.

Operating Hours: Taxis from KLIA and KLIA2 run 24/7, with a 50% surcharge on fares from midnight to 0600hrs.
Metered City Taxi
Metered taxi service is available at Terminal 1, with charges based on distance and time, including an initial flag fall charge of MYR 3.00 to MYR 6.00 for the first 1 km or 3 minutes, depending on the taxi type. Subsequent charges apply based on the distance or time traveled. Coupons can be purchased at the counter located on Level 3 of the Main Terminal Building.

Airport Bus
Kuala Lumpur Airport bus services provide transport from both KLIA and KLIA2 to KL Sentral or Puduraya Sentral, with a total journey time of about 1 hour. Buses typically run every 30 minutes. To access the bus service, head to Level 1, Block C of the Short-Term Car Park or Level 1 of the Main Terminal Building.

Light Rail Transit (LRT)
The Light Rail Transit (LRT) is Kuala Lumpur’s main rail transportation system, serving key districts within Kuala Lumpur and the Klang Valley. It includes the Kelana Jaya Line, which connects areas such as the KLCC Precinct and Petaling Street; the Sri Petaling Line, serving locations like Masjid Jamek and Pudu; and the Ampang Line, which runs parallel to the Sri Petaling Line.

Mass Rapid Transit (MRT)

Taxis
The red and white cabs with a taxi sign on top are easily recognizable around popular attractions in Kuala Lumpur. These red and white taxis are the most common and are considered budget-friendly, though premium and family taxis are also available. Be sure to confirm your destination with the driver before entering the cab, and always check that the taxi meter is turned on.

Public Buses
A cost-effective way to get around Kuala Lumpur is by using RapidKL buses, which are the most popular choice in the city. With eight different routes, the buses cover key areas such as Ampang, Cheras, Damansara, Jalan Ipoh, Jalan Klang Lama, Jalan Pahang, Lebuhraya Persekutuan, and Sungai Besi.

KL Hop On-Hop Off Bus
The KL Hop On-Hop Off Bus is a guided tour service that takes passengers on a tour of Kuala Lumpur and its landmarks.
