About

Teodora Ćurčić is an investigative and data journalist from Serbia with over seven years of experience reporting on corruption, political finance, gender-based violence, and social justice. She spent most of her career at the award-winning Center for Investigative Journalism of Serbia, where she worked on in-depth stories, developed public-interest databases and visualizations, and received multiple journalism awards. Her work combines field reporting with data analysis, visual storytelling, and multimedia formats — including maps, databases, and explainers that make complex topics more accessible and engaging. Alongside reporting, she has spent years mentoring journalists and training activists across the Balkans in investigative techniques, digital tools, and public data use. In 2025, she completed the LEDE Program at Columbia Journalism School in the United States, where she deepened her skills in coding, automation, and data science for journalism. She is passionate about cross-border collaboration, public-interest reporting, and using technology to strengthen accountability and transparency.
