I am the Managing Editor of Myanmar Now, where I oversee our daily English-language reporting while continuing to write investigative features on Myanmar’s conflict, human rights abuses, and humanitarian crises.
Previously, I worked as a correspondent for Agence France-Presse in Yangon, covering Myanmar’s upheaval before and after the 2021 military coup. I also reported for Frontier Myanmar on ethnic conflict, corruption, parliament, and environmental issues, and have contributed freelance investigations to CNN on conscription, poverty, and displacement including Myanmar military's assaults on civilians.
My reporting has been recognized with regional honors, including SOPA Honourable Mentions for Environmental Reporting (2018) and Women’s Reporting (2025), as well as a Merit Mention from the Human Rights Press Awards (2022).
