In 2022, I was awarded my doctorate with unanimous distinction from the Department of Political Science and History at Panteion University, Athens. Awards and Recognition: Since I began working in investigative journalism, I have received 8 international awards between 2015 and 2025. The awards were given for the best investigative reporting on diverse topics, including migration, corruption, and organ trafficking. In addition to my journalistic work, I am currently a faculty member in the Faculty of Languages in Cairo, in the Department of Modern Greek Studies. I continue to reside between Cairo and Athens to accommodate the demands of both my journalistic and academic work.
