Liz Lucas is an associate professor and the Houston Harte Chair in Journalism at the University of Missouri, where she teaches classes in data journalism and AI. Previously she was the senior training director at Investigative Reporters and Editors, and a data reporter and editor at KFF Health News and the Center for Public Integrity.
