Leila Goldstein is a print and audio journalist based in Phnom Penh, covering stories spanning labour rights, environmental destruction and human trafficking across Southeast Asia. Her reporting has been published by NPR, BBC and The Guardian. She was selected as a 2025 Ferriss-UC Berkeley Journalism Fellow to report on the expansion of ketamine production and trafficking in Southeast Asia. As a 2024 Pulitzer Center Longworth Media Fellow, she covered the impact of U.S. solar tariffs on the global solar manufacturing supply chain, from Vietnam to Ohio.
