I am a multimedia journalist specializing in long-form investigative reporting and cross-media storytelling, with a strong focus on environmental and social issues. Working in small, agile teams, I manage the full reporting cycle, from research and fieldwork to filming, editing, and post-publication outreach.  My feature stories, including Hiking Up Mountain Inas With Survivors of the Baling Floods, Landfills at Breaking Point: Are Waste-to-Energy (WTE) Plants the Solution or a Threat?, and No Fishermen, No Seafood: The Hidden Cost of Pangkor’s Development, have sparked meaningful public dialogue on pressing issues. Alongside journalism, I am building expertise in AI applications for newsrooms. As a member of Malaysiakini’s AI task force (2024) and a graduate of the JournalismAI training programme (2025), I explore how AI can enhance newsroom efficiency and strengthen impactful storytelling.
