Thomas Schnedler

Thomas Schnedler is Co-Managing Director of Netzwerk Recherche, the German Association of Investigative Journalists. He was part of the organizing team of the Global Investigative Journalism Conference 2019 in Hamburg. His interests include local journalism, non-profit journalism, supporting the journalistic ecosystem through training, networking and funding programs, analyzing the political, economic, and social framework for investigative journalism. His PhD at the University of Hamburg focused on precarious work in journalism.
