Ritu Sarin

Ritu Sarin is Executive Editor (News and Investigations) at The Indian Express group. She is a member of the International Consortium of Investigative Journalists (ICIJ) since 1999. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the ICIJ since 2023 and was founder member of its Network Committee (INC). She is also a member of the Board of the Environmental Reporters Collective (ERC), a network dedicated to investigating environmental crimes. She is the author of two books, one on the Panama Papers India investigation, published in 2019. She has been the recipient of several journalism awards including Ramnath Goenka Journalist of the Year award; Prem Bhatia award; the International Press Institute award and the Red Ink award.
