Eden Fineday

Eden Fineday is a nêhiyaw iskwêw (Cree woman) from Sweetgrass First Nation in Treaty 6 territory, near North Battleford, Saskatchewan. She is the publisher of IndigiNews and co-founder of tâpwêwin media, an Indigenous media nonprofit rooted in the Cree value of truth-telling. Eden works at the intersection of storytelling, sovereignty, and systems change, and is passionate about creating supportive spaces for Indigenous storytellers and documenting all of the incredible work happening in Indigenous communities. Her leadership centres kinship and cultural integrity.
