About
Investigative journalist. His reporting has uncovered schemes of corruption, financial fraud, and organized crime, and has been published by Poder magazine, the newspapers El Comercio and La República, and by Latina Television, where he leads the Investigative Unit. He has been a fellow of the García Márquez Foundation, Georgetown University, and the Lincoln Institute. He is part of the professional team at the Press and Society Institute (IPYS), where he organizes the Latin American Conference on Investigative Journalism (COLPIN). In 2019, he received the National Journalism Prize in Peru.
Acosta is the author of Plata como cancha: Secretos, impuunidad y fortuna de César Acuña (2021).
