Anusha is an award-winning journalist whose reporting covers a wide arrange of public interest topics, focusing on health, disability, social justice and government. Her investigations have exposed significant issues with New Zealand’s healthcare and welfare systems. She has extensively reported on the impact of shunning and child protection policies of the Jehovah's Witnesses in New Zealand. Anusha was named Reporter of the Year at the 2025 Voyager Media Awards. In 2022 she won the Health Journalism Award at the Voyager Media Awards and was named Best News Journalist at the NZ Radio Awards. She has also been a finalist in the New York Radio Awards for Best Investigative Reporting.
